,10:50 PM

anyone beg to differ? i'm sure all of you must be comfortably lying on bed, prepared for a good night sleep. Don't forget to rest those legs and arms from all those Hentak Kaki and 90-45 degree arm swings.

Update on today's training... So how was it?

indeed a tiring one. but i'm sure many would agree it was fruitful! GREAT JOB!

we are indeed impressed by the improvements that we have seen for the past few trainings. We applaud you for that. I could still remember the first training at Nee Soon Camp, where your dressing was H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E but look at you guys right now; Your dressing is near to perfect!
And when the trainers were up on the gallery looking down at you guys for the final rehearsal of the day, we came to realise that each and every one of you have proven to us that you DESERVE to be in the contingent. *round of applause*

and the City March, wasn't it great?! i would have loved to join you guys in the marching but sadly, everyone might regard me as being 'Extra' :) i was happy to see you all enjoying the 2km march! how you guys marched down the street with pride while singing 'We Are Singapore'; amazing. KEEP UP THE PATRIOTISM!

once again WELL DONE. but a reminder, do not be too complacent. now your main objective for the next training would be to be better than this afternoon's training. there's always room for improvements. an area of improvement would be the level of enthusiasm among all of you. we need more energy and hype from all of you!

so for now, HAVE A GOOD NIGHT'S REST! ^__^

"PROVE TO US YOU DESERVE TO BE IN THE CONTINGENT!"

trainings might be tiring, might be demoralising but that is how the journey is like. and if you think trainings would get less tiring, less tense or 'easier', i'm sorry you're wrong!

PERSEVERE, ENDURE, trust me, you'll easily ace through the trainings up ahead.

and all the shouting from the instructors as well as the trainers, is not to embarrass you guys in front of other contingents, we believe you all can do it and the standard of drills you all showcased last training was, personally, unsatisfactory.

PROVE IT! that's your task for the next training...

Please do take time to go through these cheers. Remember them! You do not want to come to a situation where the SAF team request for a cheer and the only thing Red Cross could offer is 'awkward silence'. And for crying out loud, please do not let us down. The Welfare i/cs have put in so much effort in coming out with these cheers so in return do join them in shouting out the cheers. Remember the trainings can be fun and bonding only if you want it to. We expect better response from you guys during the next training!

Hello Everyone! :)

How's the previous training? AWESOME?! i know right!

Here's a post if you need detailed information on how to play the Honey and Bee Game!
The whole purpose of this game is simple, to anonymously bring blessings to a Bee and fulfill your responsibility as a Honey. Not forgetting please do take care of your Bee. That's the whole purpose of it; to create caring individuals during this long-commitment event.

  • The name that you have in the envelope is your Bee.
  • Hence, each person will have a Honey and a Bee.
  • The goal is to anonymously bring blessings to a Bee.
  • For each training, everyone has to prepare a gift AND a note/letter to their Bees, signing off as their fake Honey name (e.g. Your lovely Honey)
  • The letter can include some encouraging words to show that the Honey care for their Bees.
  • Honey will place all their ‘blessings’ at one area at the start of the training and we will distribute them to the Bees at the end of the training.
  • The game will stop near the end of NDP.
  • At the end of the game, the Honey will reveal their identities to their Bees.

Rules of the game:
  • Honey are not to let anyone know the identity of their Bees.

  • Bees should not degrade or bad-mouth their Honey, nor should they degrade the gifts or notes they have received.

  • Honey should not spend more than $5 on a mortal for each training.

  • Honey must not whine about the Bees they have received.

Remember, this game can be a successful one only if you all put in the effort, take this game seriously and also take it with an open mind. Do not reveal your Bee to anyone, it spoils the whole purpose! This game is targeted to bring in more fun to trainings and as well to encourage everyone to create a caring relationship among each and everyone of you.

So this upcoming training, please bring along your gifts inclusive of a personal letter for your Bees. A box will be going around so please place your gift in it. And common sense, do label your gift by writing the name of your Bee and not your name! (you do not want to reveal your identity to your Bee, this early)

Looking forward to what you've done up for your Bee. Do not disappoint us and of course do not disappoint your Bee.
